Position Overview

Under the guidance of Human Resources and the Scheduling coordinator, the Staffing Clerk maintains scheduling and relief in collaboration with the Manager, Health Services, and other Management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Working knowledge of the current MNU, MGEU, and MAHCP collective agreements.
  • Ability to handle the confidential aspects of the position with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability using scheduling software (ESP preferred) as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain records and reports related to the position.
  • Ability to organize workload.
  • Read, write legible, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to complete the position on a regular basis.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
