Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
- Direct clinical service delivery.
- Documentation associated with clinical service delivery.

Experience
- Experience in welding and sheet metal required.
- Experience in automotive repairs and adaptation preferred.
- Experience using all types of machine shop equipment required (e.g. lathes, milling machines, metal bending equipment, precision measuring tools and a variety of other machinery and hand tools required.
- Experience in working with a large variety of materials (ABS, polyurethane, different foams, steel, aluminum, wood, etc.) required.
- Experience working with disabled persons preferred.
- Experience in assessing and solving-problems of wheelchair seating preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, or equivalent.
- Certified Red Seal Machinist with a minimum of 3 Years Journeyperson Experience required.
- 2-year Manufacturing Technician Diploma or one-year Precision Metal Machining Certificate preferred.
- Welding, Fabrication, Repair, and Basic CNC Design and Programming with regards to a wide range of materials required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Certificate of qualification in trade of machinist (certificate and red Seal numbers to be supplied).
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license and access to a vehicle required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

- Proficiency in word processing/email allocation (outlook, excel, word).
- Basic knowledge of mastercam X Software to control Haas Tm-1 Mini Mill.
- Professional with regards to work, clients and coworkers.
