Golden Door is currently hiring a registered nurse/registered psychiatric nurse - 0.7EFT Evening PERMANENT. Registered nurse/ registered psychiatric nurse is responsible for the day to day care, efficient resident-centered care activities within the Centre in a manner that maximizes quality care and services within the EDEN model of care. RN/RPN will work in conjunction with Care Coordinators, Other Nursing Team Members, The Health Care Aide Team, Director of Care, and other Care Team Members at the Centre.

RN/RPN is responsible to provide direct resident care, medication administration, and document care in compliance with Golden Door Geriatric Centre policies.

RN/RPN must possess strong written and oral communication skills, critical thinking skills, leadership skills with the ability to work independently, all while providing Resident-centered care.

Current registration with CRNM or CRPNM required. Experience in LTC preferred.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.

Position available as soon as possible. Orientation to the position will occur prior to this date.

Salary: Up to $46.370 per hour
