Job Summary:
The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a Registered Clinical Assistant or Physician Assistant for inpatient and outpatient services. This position will rotate between WMCC . Duties include new patient consult services taking histories and physicals, outpatient radiation follow-up, radiation on treatment clinics, and daily medical management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Eligible for registration as a Clinical Assistant or Physician Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
- Evidence of excellent communication skills in English (oral, written and listening)
- Organization and problem-solving skills
- Must hold a satisfactory employment record
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
Asset:
- Experience in dealing with complex medical patients and with cancer patients
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with ARIA
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to speak French
