Job Summary

 

Reporting to the Resource Coordinator, Cancer Clinical information Management Department, the incumbent will provide accurate and timely processing and sorting of reports, media tracking, filing/scanning, importing, and other related clerical duties as required.  The successful candidate must have flexibility to move between MacCharles and St. Boniface sites as assigned.  Maintains patient confidentiality/privacy at all times according to CCMB policy. 

 

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be a high school graduate (Grade XII or equivalent)
  • Minimum of one year experience in a related health care field or 1 year combination of related education/experience, as determined by CancerCare Manitoba
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, possess excellent communication and organization skills, and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Must hold a satisfactory employment record
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and electronic medical records
  • Proficiency in terminal digit order
  • Medical terminology
  • Experience volunteering or working in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to speak French

 

Asset:

  • Working experience with MAXON/ARIA
  • Keyboarding of 45 wpm
