Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Medical Director - Clinical Health Psychology, the incumbent is responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological tests and measures, assisting in the treatment of patients and gathering patient information in structured interviews. In addition, collects and assists in the evaluation of data. Participates in various research projects as assigned.
Experience
- Minimum three years recent related clinical experience working with adults, children and adolescents.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from a recognized university required.
- Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing procedures, test forms and materials used in psychological assessment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychological test interpretation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the application of psychological principles to health and illness.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with patients of all ages.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and data management skills.
- Ability to speak and understand French would be an asset.
