Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

 

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Regional Director - Capital Planning, the incumbent will assist the Sr. Project Coordinators, Managers and Directors in guiding user groups through the various stages of project planning, construction and occupancy. The Coordinator on behalf of the Regional Director acts as the Shared Health (SH) representative and is required to work closely with the facility teams to bring their project to a successful completion.

Experience

  • Related experience and/or experience in a healthcare setting would be considered an asset.
  • Previous work experience in design, project planning and contract administration an asset.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Master of Architecture or Interior Design, Bachelor Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology or equivalent.

 

SPECIAL TRAINING:

  • LEED [Leadership in Energy and Environment Design] is considered an asset.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Auto CAD 2004 or more current version is essential.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project coordination, evaluation and report writing considered an asset.
