Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
Experience
- Minimum of three years experience as an Engineer in charge of a shift in a first class plant, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with instrumentation and operating experience (including minor troubleshooting) with electrical and electronic industrial controls required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Complete High School education, Manitoba Standards, preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- In accordance with the Regulations under the Power Engineers Act, the incumbent requires a valid and current Manitoba Second Class Power Engineer Certificate.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a license as an Instrument Technician, Millwright, Pipefitter, or Electrician.

Physical Requirements
- Must take extreme care in performance of tasks as in close contact with exposed high temperature piping, rotating equipment and high voltages.
- Work area is subject to high temperature, humidity and noise.
