Position Overview

As a member of a Home Care Team, reporting to the Manager Health Services, the incumbent functions as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a consistent standard of client nursing services. This is achieved through responsible management of nursing staff and other resources. Nursing Resource Coordinators supervise and manage their staff according to the MNU collective agreement, CRNM Standards of Practice and Operational Standards for the Visiting Nurse Program.

Les coordonnateurs et coordonnatrices des ressources infirmières supervisent et gèrent leur personnel conformément à la convention collective de la MNU, aux normes d’exercices de la CRNM et aux normes opérationnelles du programme de soins infirmiers à domicile.

Experience

  • Minimum of four years recent related nursing experience.
  • Experience supervising staff required, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Community experience an asset.
  • Case Management experience an asset.

Expérience:

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.

 

Éducation (diplômes et certificats):

  • Baccalauréat en sciences infirmières exigé.
  • Maîtrise en sciences infirmières souhaitée.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with Employer policy.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and use of a vehicle.
