Position Overview
The Education Facilitator supports a continuing learning, growing and changing environment by providing and facilitating education activities which enhance knowledge, skills and competencies of all staff to meet current and future needs.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years current (within the last five (5) years) clinical nursing experience in a related clinical area.
- Program planning and evaluation experience is required.
- Previous experience in clinical education is essential, demonstrated teaching abilities.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required.
- Master's degree in nursing or in the clinical specialty preferred.
- Course in Adult Education preferred.
- Advanced educational certificate/post-graduate course related to the clinical area required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Current registration with the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses.
- BLS Instructor’s Certificate required.
- Current membership in a related specialty association.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
