Do you want to make a difference in health care? We have an opportunity to make a significant impact by leading a team of experienced recruitment professionals in international and national recruitment initiatives.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Talent Acquisition, The Manager, Experienced Recruitment oversees international and national recruitment initiatives and delivers on ad-hoc and immediate recruitment needs. This role leads the strategic and operational implementation of recruitment campaigns on a provincial, national and international basis. This role will also have accountability for coaching and developing a team of recruiters to deliver competitive advantage for Manitoba’s health system.
This role will liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create, manage and implement provincial recruitment opportunities to attract, select and convert experienced healthcare professionals.

Main Function:
- Lead and manage a team of recruitment professionals who will provide strategic and proactive recruiting support to a diverse and specialized group of hiring managers across the healthcare system.
- Establish comprehensive solutions for full cycle recruitment through attraction, selection and conversion activities.
- Regularly engage with client organizations and provide direct customer service to resolve service issues and ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Continuously develop networks/ partnerships to actively develop a robust database / pipeline of candidates for critical roles.
- Provide performance feedback to colleagues internally and in partner organizations based on direct interaction and the outcomes of the work of the staff in their areas related to effective collaboration.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years management experience.
- 5-10 years in-house talent acquisition experience.
- Leadership experience in a large organization preferably in roles with multisite complexity.
- Expert knowledge of recruitment and selection principles and processes, including leading innovative practices.
- Experience in leading national and international recruitments campaigns.
- Demonstrated in delivering innovative and creative solutions.
- Proven analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- SuccessFactors/SAP experience deemed an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to work effectively with all stakeholders.
Education:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or Human Resource Management from an accredited post-secondary institution.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
