Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

 

Position Overview

Reporting to the Stores Operations Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for filling grocery requisitions and performing related duties required in the Ingredient Control Centre.

Experience

  • Previous related experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Successful completion of a recognized food handling course (i.e., Food Handler Certificate) is required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
  • Familiarity with metric weights and measures is essential.

Physical Requirements

  • Position involves bending, stretching, standing, walking and lifting moderate to heavy weights for long periods of time.
  • Job includes frequent interruptions.
  • Exposure to cold temperatures and noise (attending to fridges/freezers).
