Position Overview
Performs the duties of the mechanical trade in relation to construction, alteration, installation, renovation, maintenance, repair and replacement within the MHC complex. Ensures that all assigned responsibilities are performed in an efficient, effective manner, observing all applicable safety measures, codes regulations and standards.
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience, preferably in a health care facility.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Must have a valid Journeyman Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate for the Province of Manitoba.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

- Knowledge of the English language consistent with the demands of the position.

- Must be able to work cooperatively with all MHC staff with minimum supervision.
