Golden Door is seeking Health Care Aides to join our team. Under the supervision of Care Coordinators and Team Leaders, the Health Care Aide will provide holistic quality care to residents.

Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Provide personal care and hygiene support
- Support residents in maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Administer medications as directed
- Assist with dementia care and senior care
- Collaborate with nursing staff in nursing homes and assisted living facilities
- Provide compassionate hospice care

Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate program
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent organizational skills
- Physical and mental health to meet job demands
- Genuine interest in and concern for residents' well-being
- Good attendance record in previous positions
- Proficient in English communication, including written documentation
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents and colleagues

Preferred Skills:
- Clinical experience in geriatric care within a healthcare setting

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. A security check must be obtained within six months prior to employment.
