Golden Door is currently recruiting 0.5 EFT Health Care Aides Permanent Day Positions.

Position overview:

Under the supervision of the Care Coordinators and the day-to-day direction of the Team Leaders (RN, RPN &LPN), Health Care Aide performs routine functions involved in the provision of holistic quality resident care.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Physical and mental health to meet position demands
  • Genuine interest in and concern for residents
  • Must have good attendance in present position
  • Must be able to communicate in English including written documentation
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Maintain a professional appearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience in the provision of geriatric care in a health care facility is preferred.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $19.032-$22.183 per hour

Golden Door is currently recruiting 1.0 EFT Health Care Aides TERM Day Positions.
