Position Overview
Reporting to the site HR Manager, WRHA Corporate and Community Services, the Recruitment Officer is responsible for employee relations and the effective and timely recruitment of well-qualified candidates for the WRHA Community Home Care Program.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a unionized environment performing a broad range of administrative Human Resource functions including: employee relations, labour relations and staffing.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required.
- Certificate in Human Resource Management from a recognized post-secondary institution or enrollment and completion of the program within three (3) years from date of hire.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
SPECIAL TRAINING:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) required.
- Previous experience using SuccessFactors preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Certificate in Human Resource Management.

- Must be able to learn and adapt quickly.

Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily in an office environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and competing demands.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.

The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
