Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

 

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Director, Project Design & Delivery, the incumbent is responsible for the effective, efficient reassignment of all space as needed within Shared Health (SH) . Duties include:

  1. Exercising discretion when dealing with confidential matters and future planning pressures.
  2. Interacting with senior personnel at SH, supported sites and outside organizations in explaining and interpreting policies and procedures, contract administration and disbursement procedures.
  3. Assists with various portfolio space, planning and staff moves related initiatives as required.
  4. Develops and maintains administrative and planning guidelines and protocols as it relates to move management.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a move management.
  • Experience in a comparable position within large multi-site campus or agency is an asset.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards required.
  • Completion of a recognized drafting course, Architectural Technologist or equivalent.
  • Training in AutoCad software is recommended.
  • Courses in time and project management are assets.
  • Additional accredited training in administration and database management courses preferred.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) is required.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, effective negotiation and communication skills are requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work effectively under stressful demands and with frequent interruptions.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
