Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Operations, the Clinical Operations Business Coordinator is a key member of the Clinical Innovation Group. The Clinical Operations Business Coordinator isresponsible for analyzing and reporting on effectiveness and efficiency of the processes and activitieswithin the Clinical Operations portfolio. The Clinical Operations Business Coordinator responsibilitiesinclude clinic mapping, analyzing clinical operations processes, forecasting, implementing clinics,reporting key indicators, and liaising with leaders at all levels of the organization. The ClinicalOperations Business Coordinator collaborates with clinical operations, corporate services, quality,system performance, and medical departments.

 

Qualifications:

 

Education 

  • Post secondary degree in a health-related discipline or degree with related experience in the area of Health Care Administration or Businesses from an accredited educational institution.

 

Experience

  • 3 years experience in program development, introduction of new systems and change management strategies
  • 2 years experience in stakeholder and vendor relations consultations
  • 2 years experience in forecasting, modelling, and analysis

 

A combination of work experience and education may be considered 

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record of producing results within constraints and with the use of data
  •  Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in a health-related discipline
  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • Advanced use in Excel
  • Understanding of corporate services, such as but not limited to finance, workforce (HR), information services, and environment (facilities) and how these services impact operations

 

Required Licenses, Registrations, Designations

  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body, as appropriate

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  •  Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings at multiple sites throughout the organization, and to lift and carry items 

 

Other

  • Must have satisfactory employment record
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Ability to speak French is considered an asset
