Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Commercial Services, the incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the Commercial department, including:
- Parking Operations.
- Rental Operations.
- Cashier/Reception functions, receiving and depositing funds received in Commercial.
- Communicating with clients either in person, by telephone or email in a friendly professional and timely manner.
Experience
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in a computerized financial department, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Previous experience with parking operations, rental tenancy agreements and reception required.
- Experience dealing with the public in a friendly and pleasant manner required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards, required.
- Business/Accounting diploma from a recognized business college.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
SPECIAL TRAINING:
- Knowledge of a Parking Access and Revenue Control System, preferably TIBA Smartpark, and the Residential Tenancy Branch would be an asset.

Qualifications and Skills
- Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
- Typing minimum 45-50 wpm, demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook); General Ledger systems required.
- Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to deal with stressful situations arising from day-to-day responsibilities in meeting critical deadlines.
- Arranges parking and tenancy rentals with staff.
- Ability to communicate with the public who may be difficult to deal with.
- Subject to frequent interruptions, lack of isolation in work area and use of computer terminals.
