Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

 

Position Overview

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for effective, efficient reception/clerical support for Supply & Distribution Services. The incumbent is the main receptionist, greeting and screening visitors, answering telephones, providing information and taking messages creating requisitions, reviewing purchases in SAP. The incumbent assists with clerical functions such as opening mail and processing requests for sold items and document delivery statistics. Good Computer skills.

Experience

  • Previous related clerical experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Qualifications and Skills

  • Typing 40 wpm and experience using a computerized inventory control system SAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Knowledge of database and spreadsheet software preferred.
  • Effective English communication skills, both oral and written, required.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
