POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for group planning, group facilitation, providing direct outreach and acting as the liaison between the family and other community resources.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills and be able to work to strict deadlines while contributing to a professional working environment.

Candidates must have:

 Grade 12 and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adults and infants in the area of pregnancy, parenting and nutrition.

 Knowledge of community resources and facilitation experience.

 Proficiency in both official languages, English and French

 Demonstrated computer proficiency.

 Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.

 Ability to communicate in language(s) other than English and French

 Knowledge of barriers that affect 2SLGBTQIA+ & BIPOC communities accessing health care

 Commitment to anti-oppressive and anti-racist work practices
