Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

 

Position Overview

To meet objectives established by the Medical Director and reporting to the Administrative Officer the incumbent is expected to function independently with minimal supervision and to exercise initiative and good judgement in setting priorities and deadlines.

Experience

  • Three years' experience providing secretarial and administrative support.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with SAP timekeeping.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required. 
  • Completion of an office administration course is preferred.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with other staff, as well as senior personnel.
  • Windows computer environment required.
  • Workplace Health and Safety Program or training preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently.
