Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
The Imaging Informatics Assistant will work directly with the Diagnostic Services Informatics Team in supporting and assisting team members in the implementation and maintenance of the Diagnostic Services software applications throughout Prairie Mountain Health. The Imaging Informatics Assistant functions in a confidential capacity in matters relating to labor relations.
Experience
- Two (2) years equivalent full-time experience in an administrative, financial or relevant health related discipline.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Grade 12 education (MB Standards).
- Graduate and/or certification from a recognized Business Administration Program.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology.
- Accurate keyboarding skills, with minimum 60 wpm.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability.
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining effective interpersonal working relationships required.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills required.
- Demonstrated sound organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
