Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Medical Director – Clinical Health Psychology, the incumbent is responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological tests and measures, assisting in the treatment of patients and gathering information in structured interviews.


In addition, the incumbent coordinates research projects at a relatively independent level. Collects and assists in the evaluation of data.


Multiple opportunities are available. The incumbent can be a .40 FTE up to full time, depending on interest and availability.


  • Minimum five years recent related clinical experience working with adults, children, and adolescents.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Master’s degree in Psychology required.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with Psychological Association of Manitoba (PAM).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of testing procedures, test forms, and materials used in psychological assessment.
  • Extensive knowledge of psychological test interpretation.
  • Extensive knowledge of the application of psychological principles to health and illness.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with patients of all ages.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis and data management skills.
  • Ability to speak and understand French would be an asset.
Physical Requirements
  • Good physical and mental health and manual dexterity.


This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.


Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
