Position Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor - Account Management, the Identity & Access Agent is responsible for the provisioning of various types of network and application accounts.  The incumbents work closely with Service Desk, Application Management and Infrastructure Support Analysts.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in the following areas:
    • provisioning network and application accounts.
    • providing software related technical support within a medium to large business environment.
    • enterprise class computing environments, wide-area and/or local-area networks.
  • Experience in service delivery using Best Practices, such as ITIL processes, is preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Undergraduate degree and/or diploma in Computer Science/Computer Analyst program from a recognized university or community college, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience supporting customers in an IT environment.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

N/A

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of call tracking/work order management software tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Proven ability to plan work, establish priorities and adapt these plans and priorities in the face of unpredictable software and hardware challenges.
  • Proven effectiveness in high stress environments.
  • Extensive use of phone and PC is required.
